Nick Kalm

Nick Kalm is vice chair of the Lincoln Presidential Foundation and has served on the board since 2012. He is the Founder, President and CEO of Reputation Partners, a strategic communications firm with offices in Chicago and Milwaukee. 

Nick’s firm focuses exclusively on protecting, enhancing and restoring corporate/organizational and executive reputations. This work includes business/financial media relations, employee communications, digital strategies, crisis/issues management and corporate social responsibility. 

His clients include many Fortune 500/Most Admired companies, as well as large academic and not-for-profit institutions in the Midwest and across the U.S. 

Nick is a sought-after speaker on reputation issues and crisis management.  He has been quoted in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, Chicago Magazine, PR Week and numerous other publications.

Prior to founding Reputation Partners, Nick spent nearly six years with Edelman, the largest public relations agency in the world, where he served as executive vice president and general manager of the firm’s Midwest corporate practice and founded/served as global leader of the firm’s employee/labor communications practice.  Earlier in his career, he served as director of public relations for FMC Corporation; led Ketchum Public Relations’ Midwest corporate practice; and spent eleven years with two leading multinational pharmaceutical and chemical companies in public relations/public affairs.  

Nick received his bachelor of arts (A.B.) degree in political science from Kenyon College in Ohio and completed the Program in American Government at American University in Washington, DC.
