My wife & I have visited your great museum several times in the past few years. And it is one of the nicest presentations of our greatest presidents.

Very excited about following this new blog. The Lincoln Museum is for me the standard by which all presidential museums should be matched and an inspiration for all the tiny historical organizations in Illinois and beyond to keep at their work. I’m sure the blog will be a great way of bringing together people who share this love for history and preservation.

A blog about the Lincoln Museum – how good is this?! Wonderful! I look forward to future posts and spreading the word about Mr. Lincoln and his life. The Lincoln Museum is a wonderful place in the best of locations. I have only been able to visit once but spent a long time there and saw it all. I would like to go back in the future. I am wondering if in the future those of us out here in blogland could subscribe to this blog. Just wondering.

I should clarify. When I say subscribe I am talking about this blog having a subscriber list that one could sign up for and the individual post would go out to those on that subscriber list rather than placing the blog in one’s favorites list. Again, I am just wondering if this is a good thing or is even possible. Thank you for listening.

Hello! And welcome to the blogosphere! I’m with the Illinois State Genealogical Society and we have a wonderful partnership with ALPLM and have just started our own blog as well: http://ilgensoc.blogspot.com.

There is one technical issue with your blog: there is no title. When subscribing via Google Reader, it comes up as Title Unknown. Also, there is no title on the Internet Explorer browser tab. You may want to fix this since it is part of your branding and helps get you noticed.

I am a member of the Oregon Lincoln Bicentennial Commission and we are very excited about this blog. The OLBC has been involved in an astounding number of events to keep alive the legacy of Lincoln and celebrate his live and accomplishments. Our visit to the Presidental Library was the highlight of our trip to Springfield. Our grandchildren John and Sarah as well as my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. I have recommended this visit to all our friends back here in ” Lincoln Country” Indiana.
