Event Registration Information

Nearly all of the activities surrounding the dedication of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum are free and open to the general public.

Abraham Lincoln Scholarly Conference (April 17 & 18) - This conference is sold out.

Abraham Lincoln Association Breakfast (April 18) - The breakfast is sold out.

Lincoln-era White House State Dinner (April 18) - There is an extremely limited number of seats still available at $500 per person, available by calling Amy Jackson at 217-558-8906. Note: This dinner has been moved to the Prairie Capitol Convention Center.

Official Dedication Celebration (April 19)
10 a.m. Outdoor Band Concert 312 Army Band
11 a.m. Official Dedication Ceremony

General Admission Dedication Tickets: General admission tickets for the dedication of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum are free, and are required for entry to the ceremony on April 19.

Tickets will be available to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday April 11th through Wednesday April 13th at the Prairie Capital Convention Center box office.

A government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, must be shown to obtain tickets.

Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis with a limit of two tickets per person.

The dedication begins at 11 a.m. The 312th Army Band will perform at 10 a.m.

It is strongly recommended that people with tickets arrive as early as possible to get a good spot at the ceremony and allow enough time for security procedures, including metal detectors and bag searches.

Dedication Shuttle Service: There will be no parking near the presidential museum on dedication day. A free dedication shuttle bus system will run from the State Fairgrounds beginning at 7 a.m. on dedication morning. All persons planning to attend the dedication should utilize this free service.

Dedication-Day Security: - Prohibited items: Back-packs, duffle bags, Alcohol, glass, glass bottles, cans, coolers, Weapons of any kind - including firearms, pocket knifes, Umbrellas, Mopeds, bicycles, scooters, roller blades, skateboards

For your protection and safety, each guest will pass through a security screening check point before entering the dedication area.

Personal cameras are allowed, but are subject to inspection.
