Additional Tea Party with Mary Todd Lincoln
scheduled for November 10 at Lincoln Presidential Library

Springfield, IL — One additional high tea with Mary Todd Lincoln has been scheduled for November 10, offering one more chance for those who could not get tickets to the previous four sold out teas this year.

The Saturday, November 10 Tea Party with Mary Todd Lincoln will begin at 2 p.m. in the Lincoln Reception Room at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library in downtown Springfield. The former First Lady, as portrayed by Pam Brown, will greet guests and socialize during the afternoon Victorian event. The four-course affair will include assorted teas, pastries, soup, petit sandwiches and seasonal fruit.

The additional date was added after the tea parties scheduled for July 21, August 11, September 8 and October 20 quickly sold out.

Tickets are $30 and include an exclusive viewing of the Museum's temporary exhibit, Mary Todd Lincoln: First Lady of Controversy after the tea party. Tickets may be purchased online at www.alplm.org or by calling (217) 558-8934.

This event is co-sponsored by the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundation.
